1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the ScanAix Chrome Extension or using any ScanAix web service (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ScanAix provides AI security tooling including trust scoring of AI platforms, real-time threat intelligence, prompt injection detection, and shadow AI scanning. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier and paid plans (Pro, Business).

3. Account Registration

Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@scanaix.com of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to conduct any unlawful activity
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from ScanAix software
Circumvent scan quotas or rate limits programmatically
Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
Use the Service to target, monitor, or harvest data from other individuals without consent

6. Data and Privacy

ScanAix does not store the content of your AI conversations. The extension monitors metadata (AI tool domains, scan counts, threat patterns) to provide the Service. Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

All ScanAix software, trust scores, vulnerability database entries, and threat intelligence data are the intellectual property of ScanAix Security. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes only.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. ScanAix trust scores represent our analysis at a point in time and should not be the sole basis for security decisions. We do not guarantee that the Service will detect all threats or vulnerabilities.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanAix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to ScanAix in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
